We wanted to share a couple excellent videos addressing the topic of organ donation. First, hop over to www.decisiontodonate.com where you’ll find a film about two men, one in need of a kidney and the other willing to donate. The film won a first place award at this year’s Donate Life Hollywood Film Festival. Congrats!
In addition, we received a very nice note from a filmmaker named Jonathan, who recently posted this very powerful video below. Be sure to check it out. Thanks Jonathan!

Hey Scott…
This is one of the more beautiful, incredible videos I’ve seen — thank you so much for bringing it to our attention…
For some of us, the ending — “What’s your definition of a hero?” — some of us see a face, and a smile, and a family who surrounded them… We know our definition of “hero”…
Thanks for reminding us… Love, Steve
Hey Steve – Jonathan did quite an amazing job for a first time crack at editing! Agree, hero can mean something different to different people but there’s no denying the amazing impact and special gifts that a registered donor can give to others.
Here is another video about organ donation and religion produced recently for a PBS show. The Catholic priest we speak to was a heart recipient and now dedicates himself to clarifying misconceptions about organ donation and religion: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/wideangle/episodes/heart-of-jenin/video-does-your-religion-allow-organ-donation/5093/
Thanks so much for sharing Aaron. Great video and we’ll be sure to share with our Facebook fans as well over at http://www.facebook.com/DonateLifeIllinois
Jonathan’s video is so powerful. Little lives saved.
