Following our recent spots on Amanda and Laura, we want to introduce you to yet another very special person. Chandler West is a freshman at Loyola University. He’s buried in pre-med studies, shoots photographs for the Loyola Phoenix newspaper and enjoys all that Chicago has to offer.
All this became possible last December when Chandler ended his long battle with heart complications and received a heart transplant. He’s alive and well today thanks to the generosity of his donor, Lauren. Chandler is helping his fellow Loyola classmates out with their participation in the 2008 Campus Challenge, encouraging fellow students to register and help save lives.
