On January 30 Donate Life Illinois will be teaming up with Get Game – Give Life – a program that uses the setting of college basketball games to inform college students about the importance of organ & tissue donation. The program claims to have reached over a quarter million people since it’s inception four years ago.
Put it on the calendar…Depaul vs. Syracuse men’s basketball game, Wednesday, January 30, 7:30 p.m., Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. You can purchase tickets at the Allstate link I provided or at the door.
In addition to being at the event to register attendees, Donate Life Illinois will be featured during halftime along with some local transplant recipients to call attention to the issue.
I must say though, the DePaul Blue Demon mascot may have some serious competition that night with you know who….
