Hey Scott!!!

I helped out at the National Kidney Foundation Gift of Life walk and ran into a mutual friend, Kim (I just adore her!) She told me about your blog posting about a "Chicago Mom" blog entry about organ donation -- the funny thing was I had stumbled across it earlier in the morning and told her I had two open browser windows with the entries because I wanted to comment to both the Chicago and Silicon Valley chicks! Thank you for bringing this to people's attention, and yes, I did post a comment to both of them today...

What they've done, and what they're doing is very special -- spreading the word is so very important... A month before she died, my beautiful donor told her family how strongly she felt about organ donation -- twice. Kari's Mom said in their letter to me, "It seemed so logical coming out of her mouth. I guess it took our seventeen year old daughter to teach us about giving selflessly to others." In my heart, I know the type of person Kari was, and the type of people her family are... Yet, someone had to plant that seed in her beautiful mind.

And it could have easily been someone like those two Moms spreading the word... And also someone like you helping them spread their words a little farther!

Hope you're doing freakin' dandy...

Love,

Steve
